Wiko Insulation Technology and Scaffolding Construction
Wiko was founded in 1968 and is based in Rotterdam. A family business that has specialised in insulation and scaffolding construction for more than 50 years with an extensive portfolio of services, including thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, fireproof penetrations, scaffolding, rope access and tracing. Wiko has a strong presence in industrial sectors such as petrochemicals, chemicals, energy, food, shipbuilding, yachting and offshore, where it carries out new construction, renovation and repair work. The company has more than 150 employees. Even after the acquisition, Wiko’s management will continue to lead the organisation with the same vision and service orientation.
Remondis Maintenance & Services
Remondis Maintenance & Services is part of the Rethmann Group. The Rethmann Group has four business groups: Remondis (environmental and water management and industrial services), Rhenus (logistics services), Saria (Recycling) and Transdev (public transport company). RMS operates in the field of industrial services and aims to become an integrated industrial service provider for Dutch industry. It is already active in the Dutch industrial market through REYM, a company specialising in industrial cleaning. With the acquisition of Wiko, RMS expands its portfolio to include insulation and scaffolding services.
