Rachelle Mourits

Rachelle Mourits acts as a lawyer for both Dutch and foreign companies across the entire spectrum of employment law. She also regularly acts in dismissal cases for and against statutory directors, managers and other key employees. In addition, Rachelle advises on employee benefit schemes and subsidy schemes for employers.

 

TRACK RECORD

Rachelle Mourits graduated in Dutch law from the University of Amsterdam. Before she was sworn in as an attorney, she worked for several years as a (business/process) lawyer at a legal consultancy firm focused on SMEs, hospilatlity & leisure. Rachelle has been working at Blenheim since 2010 and has successfully completed the (post-doctoral) Grotius Specialisation course in Employment Law at the University of Nijmegen.

Rachelle has registered the following legal practice areas with the Dutch Bar Association:

  • Labour Law
  • Collective dismissal
  • International labour law
  • Participation

According to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association, this registration obliges her to obtain at least ten training points in these practice areas per calendar year.

Rachelle is a member of the “Vereniging voor Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Nederland” (VAAN) in the Netherlands and also of the “Employment Law Group” which is a part of the international network, Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW).

Rachelle speaks English and Dutch.
